Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure aimed at lightening, whitening, and brightening the color of teeth. Our care is an easy at-home treatment.
WHY DO I NEED MY TEETH WHITENED?
Over time, teeth can become discolored due to various factors, including consuming certain foods and beverages (such as coffee, tea, and red wine), tobacco use, poor dental hygiene, aging, and certain medications. Teeth whitening treatments help reverse this discoloration and restore a whiter, brighter shade to the teeth. Whether you have a significant event coming up or if you just want to feel more confident with your smile, come visit Dr. Silberman.

Dental restorative care is the branch of dentistry that focuses on repairing or restoring the function, structure, and appearance of damaged or missing teeth. It involves various treatments and procedures to treat dental conditions and restore the integrity and aesthetics of the teeth and mouth.
Here are some common dental restorative care procedures:
Fillings: Dental fillings are used to repair teeth that have been affected by decay. We remove the damaged part and restore it with a composite resin material (tooth-colored filling).
Crowns: Dental crowns, also known as caps, are custom-made restorations that cover and protect damaged or weakened teeth. They can restore the appearance of a decaying or damaged tooth.
Bridges: Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of one or more artificial teeth held in place by dental crowns.
Dental Implants: Dental implants are a more permanent solution for replacing missing teeth. They involve the surgical placement of a titanium post into the jawbone, which serves as an artificial tooth root. A dental crown is attached to the implant, providing a natural-looking and functioning replacement tooth.
Dentures: Dentures are removable appliances used to replace multiple missing teeth. They can be complete dentures, which replace all teeth in the upper or lower arch, or partial dentures, which replace only a few missing teeth and attach to the remaining natural teeth.
Root Canal Therapy: Root canal treatment is performed when the inner nerve of a tooth becomes infected or inflamed.
As your family dentist in Haddon Heights, NJ, we'll ensure the whole family has good oral hygiene and pretty smiles. We encourage you and the family to come in every six months for check-ups and cleaning to help prevent gum and other oral diseases. At your general check-up, we will X-ray your mouth, searching for signs of infection or other potential issues. We will also offer oral cancer screenings and fluoride applications. Then, we will deep clean your teeth, being careful not to cause discomfort. Dr. Silberman prides himself in easing dental anxiety, which encourages our patients to return.
PEDIATRIC DENTAL CARE
Kids are also welcome to the office. Whether they still have their baby teeth or their permanent ones are settling in, we'll ensure your child's teeth develop correctly. It is imperative to bring your children in as they lose their baby teeth so we can keep the exposed gumline clean. Maintaining the gums can lower the pain as their permanent teeth take place.
SELF-DENTAL CARE TIPS
Staying on top of oral hygiene is the most effective way to ensure your teeth last forever. Reduce the chances of dental emergencies or needing extensive dental care with the following methods:
Brushing with a power brush
Flossing daily
Water therapy, such as a Water Pik
Promptly notify your dentist of any concerns
